We are a caring, friendly team of dental professionals committed to providing a positive dental experience. We offer near pain-less dental treatment.

Dr. Kumar's goal is to provide the best dental care possible for you and your family in a compassionate, caring environment. At ACCU Dental we want to help you maintain your oral hygiene in a way that will keep your teeth and mouths healthy for a lifetime.

We strongly believe in preventive dentistry for you and your entire family, including kids. Meaning that we are a strong advocate of regular oral health check-ups. Regular cleaning, recommended every six months, keeps the tartar and cavities in check, and helps prevent major oral diseases.

Watch the video below to learn more about why and where cavities occur

Depending on our patients oral health needs, we will offer either a simple cleaning or a deep pocket cleaning treatment. And remember to brush your teeth at least once in the morning and once before you hit the bed.

Mouthguards can prevent sport and other injuries - for kids, teens and adults

Injuries to the mouth and face are the number-one sports related trauma resulting in pain and expense. These injuries include but not limited to chipped or lost tooth, jaw fractures, TMJ problems. Fortunately the dental injury can be prevented by wearing a mouthguard. A mouthguard is a plastic mouth appliance that fits over the teeth. The American Dental Association estimates that mouthguards prevent 200,000 injuries each year in high-school and college sports alone.

While high-contact sports may require the mouthgaurds to be mandatory, most the majority of mouth injuries occur in children between the ages of 7 and 14, often while participating in commonplace activities like skateboarding, rollerblading or bike riding. Other sports where mouthguards are proven to prevent injuries include are baseball, soccer, basketball, martial arts, skiing, volleyball and gymnastics. Mouthguards should be worn during all activities where there is a risk of falling or head contact. For details about sports related dental injury visit the Academy for Sports Dentistry.

At ACCU Dental, we will design and create a custom mouthguards that fits your mouth with minimal or no discomfort. On your first appointment we will take an impression of your teeth and then we use this impression to fabricate a mouthguards that is optimized to just fit your mouth. On your second visit we will ensure the mouthguard's fit and the alignment and deliver the mouthguards to you. In few rare cases we will need to recreate the mouthgaurd to ensure highest quality and precise fit for your mouth.

Other commonly used terms for the mouthguards are dental mouthguards , occlusalguards, nightguards etc.

Make an appointment now for yourself and your family for a FREE initial consultation with Dr. Kumar for your regular 6 month check-up or for mouthguards.
